I'm Laura, a travel photographer based in New York.
Experiencing the world and sharing it with those who may not have the opportunity to do so is something I will never take for granted.
I began taking a true interest in photography back in 2008. Back then, I have enjoyed spending my time out and about taking photos of flowers, plants, and animals. As I spent more time with my camera, I fell more in love with the art. I combined my passion for travel and adventure with photography and continue to capture all of the beauty that I see in landscapes, seascapes, mountains, waterfalls, and more!
There is something quite special about finding a peaceful spot and connecting with the nature around you. There is something even more special about being able to capture that moment and share it with humanity.

the woman behind the lens
The more that I self-photographed while traveling, the more interested I became with the idea of portrait photography.
After my own experience with boudoir, I thought "I could do this, but in a more meaningful way." I partnered with my friend, Antonia, and began experimenting with boudoir photography. Empowering others while they're in their most genuine form is a feeling you can't explain. And so Sheer Soul Studio was born.
Helping others transform into a powerful, confident entity is fuel for creativity and oneness. I continued portraiture in various ways from family shoots, to small business shoots, to alternative and creative shoots, to couples shoots. All the while, fulfilling my motto: photography of the soul.
P.S. I also enjoy food/product and still life photography :)
